Pak CA (Pvt) Ltd is committed to impartiality in all of its certification activities. Our certificates are only valuable because clients, buyers and regulators can trust that every decision is objective.

Our commitments

  • Certification decisions are based only on objective evidence gathered during the audit.
  • Pak CA does not provide management-system consultancy, internal audits or training that is specific to a client it certifies. Consultancy is provided by separate organizations.
  • No auditor is assigned to a client they have worked for, consulted or been employed by in the last two years.
  • The person who makes the certification decision is different from the auditor who carried out the audit.
  • Fees, sales targets and commercial pressure never influence the outcome of an audit or a certification decision.
  • We do not certify another certification body's management system.

Managing risks to impartiality

We identify, analyse and document possible conflicts of interest arising from our activities, relationships and staff, and we review these risks at least once a year. Every auditor and staff member signs a declaration of impartiality and confidentiality and must report any potential conflict before an assignment.

Oversight

Our impartiality arrangements are reviewed by top management, with input from interested parties. Anyone who believes our impartiality has been compromised can tell us through the complaints page.

This policy is approved by the Chief Executive of Pak CA (Pvt) Ltd.
